Ole’s main responsibilities include Nordic energy security and Nordic-Baltic energy cooperation as well as managing Canadian-Nordic energy cooperation. He also manages research funding and heads the Nordic Energy Systems Programme and the Joint Baltic-Nordic Energy Research Programme. Ole also serves as an observer to the board of Nordic Energy Research.
Ole has extensive experience in project management, policy development, research coordination, facilitating workshops, and engaging stakeholders. Ole holds an M.Sc. in Political Science from the University of Copenhagen, with a focus on the harmonisation of the European energy system.
