Andrea has the main responsibility for the Nordic Electricity Market Group, a working group under the Nordic Council of Ministers.
As secretary for the working group, Andrea focuses on electricity markets, grid infrastructure, and security of supply. Her work primarily involves the development and improvement of the Nordic electricity market, as well as structural developments in the broader energy sector.
Andrea is a specialist in electricity markets with more than 15 years of experience in European and Nordic market design and regulation. She has held roles at Norsk Hydro, Fornybar Norge (the Norwegian sector association), and Statnett (the Norwegian Transmission System Operator).
Andrea holds an M.A. in European Studies with a focus on Political Science and Economics from Humboldt University in Berlin and a master’s degree from Sciences Po, Paris.
