The Clean Energy Transition Partnership (CETPartnership) is a transnational partnership aimed at accelerating the clean energy transition and contributing to the EU’s goal of climate neutrality by 2050.
Co-funded by the EU, the partnership brings together funding organisations in the energy sector from over 30 countries across Europe and beyond. Through annual joint calls, the partnership aligns the research, development, and innovation priorities of the participating funding organisations and the EU. The CETPartnership aims to support selected projects covering a broad variety of technologies and system solutions required to make the transition.
A key element of the CETPartnership is the seven Transition Initiatives (TRIs) that address challenges for the clean energy transition. The TRIs develop call categories based on these challenges that applicants can apply to through the annual joint calls.
The CETPartnership also includes the Knowledge Community and the Impact Network, which support collaboration between the funded projects and their connections with relevant stakeholders, to enable effective RDI results for robust clean energy transition pathways.
