The Baltic Carbon Forum is an annual conference aiming to support the fostering of full-scale development of carbon capture, utilisation, and storage (CCUS) in the Baltic Sea Region.
Hosted each year in October by the BASRECCS network, the forum intends to enable stakeholders to meet, discuss, share knowledge and experiences, and develop projects in connection with the climate change mitigation technologies of CCUS. The Baltic Carbon Forum also aims to increase awareness about CCUS among younger generations in order to secure a sustainable future for all.
The Nordic-Baltic Networking Group on Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage (NgCCUS), where Nordic Energy Research provides secretariat support, acts as the advisory board to the Baltic Carbon Forum.
The forum invites members of the BASRECCS network as well as other relevant experts and interested actors to participate and speak at the event.
