With this call, Nordic Energy Research wants to strengthen the exchange of knowledge and skills among Nordic PhD students and researchers.\u202f\u202f&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year&nbsp;Nordic Energy Research&nbsp;also&nbsp;includes&nbsp;Nordic-Baltic cooperation in the&nbsp;Event and Networking support activities&nbsp;to&nbsp;establish&nbsp;energy research cooperation between Baltic and Nordic&nbsp;countries&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;call enables PhD students and researchers to improve their communication and dissemination skills,&nbsp;acquire&nbsp;new competencies, and broaden\u202ftheir research perspectives\u202fby holding events. These events should foster interaction with other researchers, private industries, authorities, and the public from different Nordic&nbsp;and Baltic&nbsp;countries.\u202f&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Budget<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The dedicated budget for 2026&nbsp;is&nbsp;900 000 NOK (of which 200\u202f000 NOK are dedicated for Nordic-Baltic projects).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The available budget will be distributed following a first-come, first-served principle. This implies that the probability of receiving funding decreases accordingly to the number of granted applications during the year.\u202fThe call closes when the budget is exhausted&nbsp;or at the end of the year. This will be communicated on Nordic Energy Research&#8217;s webpage.\u202f&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who can apply?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The applicant must be a PhD student, researcher, or post-doctorate&nbsp;at, having a stipend, or being affiliated with a home institution in a Nordic\/Baltic&nbsp;country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The following criteria must be met:\u202f&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The event must focus on energy and be based on relevant Nordic\/Baltic research<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The event can be a conference, workshop, seminar, summer school, etc.\u202f\u202f<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Both physical, hybrid, and online events are accepted<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For Nordic applications: the event must target actors from at least three Nordic countries, including Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Iceland, the Faroe Islands, \u00c5land, and Greenland<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For Nordic\/Baltic applications: when Baltic countries (Estonia, Lithuania, and Latvia) are included as targets for the event at least two Nordic countries must also be target actors<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The applicant must not have received funding from this call more than three times within the past four years<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","topics":[49],"funding_type":[26],"current_status":[31],"class_list":["post-8231","funding","type-funding","status-publish","hentry","topics-mobility","funding_type-call","current_status-open"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.9 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/product\/yoast-seo-wordpress\/ -->\n<title>Networking\u00a0and\u00a0Event Support 2026 - Nordic Energy Research<\/title>\n<meta name=\"robots\" content=\"index, follow, max-snippet:-1, max-image-preview:large, max-video-preview:-1\" \/>\n<link rel=\"canonical\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nordicenergy.org\/funding\/networking-and-event-support-2026\/\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:locale\" content=\"en_US\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:type\" content=\"article\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:title\" content=\"Networking\u00a0and\u00a0Event Support 2026 - Nordic Energy Research\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:description\" content=\"The&nbsp;Networking&nbsp;and&nbsp;Event Support call for 2026&nbsp;is now open for proposals.
