With this call,\u202fNordic Energy Research wants to strengthen the collaboration and exchange of knowledge and skills among Nordic PhD students and researchers by financially supporting individual exchanges between the Nordic countries. Through increased exchange between the Nordic countries Nordic Energy Research hopes to contribute with\u202fNordic added value to national research and&nbsp;facilitate&nbsp;the establishment of strong new connections.\u202f&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This call is offered under the\u202f<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nordicenergy.org\/research-programmes\/nordic-energy-research-mobility-programme\/\">Nordic Energy Research Mobility Programme<\/a>\u202fand the dedicated budget for\u00a02026 is 1.68\u00a0MNOK.\u202f\u202f<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The available budget will be distributed following a\u202ffirst-come, first-served principle<em>.<\/em>\u202fIt implies that the probability of receiving funding decreases accordingly to the number of granted applications during the year. The call closes when the budget is exhausted or at the end of the year. This will be communicated on Nordic Energy Research&#8217;s webpage.\u202f&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who can apply?\u202f&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The applicant must either be a PhD student or researcher,&nbsp;at&nbsp;a Nordic research&nbsp;performing organisation&nbsp;and funding can be&nbsp;sought&nbsp;on an individual or family basis. The following requirements must be met for the application to be approved:\u202f\u202f\u202f&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The individual exchange must be performed to conduct a research project, to participate in a course or one other knowledge-creating activity at a host institution, relevant for conducting research within the energy field<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The\u00a0applicant\u00a0must be a\u00a0PhD\u00a0student or\u00a0researcher\u00a0employed\u00a0at,\u00a0having\u00a0a stipend, or\u00a0being\u00a0affiliated\u00a0with\u00a0a\u00a0home\u00a0institution\u00a0in a Nordic country\u00a0(Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Iceland, the Faroe Islands, \u00c5land, and Greenland)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The home institution must be a research performing organisation*<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The individual exchange must take place in a Nordic country other than the one where the home institution is located<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The exchange duration must not be less than 1 month nor exceed 12 months in total<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The exchange can be split into, for example, 2X1 month if the purpose can be justified<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The applicant must not have been denied granting from this call more than three\u00a0times<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-default\">\u202f*Nordic Energy Research follows the Norwegian Research Council&#8217;s definition of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.forskningsradet.no\/en\/financing\/research-organisations\/approved-research-organisations\/\">Approved research organisations<\/a>. Hence, the home institution must comply with the definition.
